"Les temps du « Tool-like » du premier album de Soen, Cognitive (2012) semblent bel et bien terminés. Le très chiadé et organique Tellurian (2014) montrait une évolution qui se distinguait des influences premières du groupe mené par le batteur Martin Lopez (Fifth To Infinity, ex-Opeth, ex-Amon Amarth) et le chanteur Joel Ekelöf. Leur nouvel opus, Lykaia (festival archaïque de la Grèce ancienne centré autour de la menace cannibale et d’une possible transformation en loup-garou) n’est pas l’occasion de dévier de chemin.
