Cool les Dead Daisies, surtout en live,
Ça me fait penser que début avril j'ai vu Doug Aldrich accompagné au chant de Keith St John (ex-Montrose, Kingdom Come) à La Dame de Canton (Jonque chinoise en bois amarrée en face de la bibliothèque François Mitterrand) en version acoustique.
Avec quelques bières et quelques potes c'était assez sympa

Sur les traces d’un trio de rock américain aux barbes devenues mythiques, qui s'apprête à fêter cinquante ans d’une carrière bien remplie.
Pour son dernier documentaire musical en date, le réalisateur canadien Sam Dunn – à qui l’on doit notamment un portrait d'Alice Cooper diffusé en 2018 par ARTE – s’est intéressé au trio de blues rock américain ZZ Top, aussi fameux que son histoire est méconnue. Comment Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill et Frank Beard, excentriques fans de blues qui ont écumé pendant dix ans les bars les plus miteux du Texas, sont-ils parvenus à se propulser sur le devant de la scène ? Car ZZ Top, formé en 1969, fait partie des rares groupes de cette époque à avoir survécu sans jamais changer de formation. Cinquante ans plus tard, leurs deux barbes démesurées – Frank Beard le mal-nommé ne va jamais plus loin que le bouc –, leur style de cow-boy et leurs riffs auréolés d’une touche de surréalisme presque mystique continuent de fédérer public et critiques. Retour en images sur le parcours haut en couleur d'un quinqua toujours pas assagi, entré en 2004 au Rock'n' roll Hall of Fame.
