Bonjour

Le groupe de rock progressif norvégien AVKRVST a signé avec InsideOutMusic/Sony Music pour la sortie de son premier album en 2023. AVKRVST a été fondé par Martin Utby et Simon Bergseth, deux musiciens et amis qui ont grandi ensemble et ont joué une multitude de concerts avec toutes sortes de groupes, mais jamais ensemble jusqu’à présent.

Le groupe a commenté à propos de la signature : « Signer avec InsideOutMusic est un rêve d’enfant devenu réalité. Nous sommes plus qu’enthousiasmés par le voyage à venir et prêts à ce que le monde entende notre musique. »

A l’âge de 7 ans, Martin et Simon ont conclu un pacte qu’ils formeraient un groupe quand ils seraient plus grands. Aujourd’hui, 22 ans plus tard, c’est exactement ce qu’ils ont fait. Un album est prêt – 55 minutes de musique inspirée de tout ce qu’ils ont écouté en grandissant – de Mew, Anekdoten et Porcupine Tree à Opeth, Neal Morse et King Crimson.
Toute la musique a été écrite dans une petite cabane, au plus profond des forêts norvégiennes (Alvdal, Norvège). Simon Bergseth (compositeur, guitares, basse et chant) et Martin Utby (compositeur, batteur et synthés) ont ensuite été rejoints par Øystein Aadland à la basse/claviers, Edvard Seim aux guitares et Auver Gaaren aux claviers.

PINK FLOYD a mis en ligne une série de 18 concerts inédits, datant de 1972, sur les plateformes de streaming et sur YouTube, comprenant notamment les shows donnés au Palais des Sports de Poitiers, le 29 novembre 1972, et celui du 1er décembre au Palais des Sports de l’île de la Jatte, près de Paris.

Outre ces 18 concerts, le groupe a également dévoilé des versions alternatives de cinq titres tirés de "The Dark Side Of The Moon", mises en ligne sous le nom dr "Alternative Tracks 1972" . Cette collection comprend deux remixes trance, une version brute de "On The Run" où on entend le groupe de David Gilmour et Roger Waters débattre de ce que peut accomplir un synthétiseur, ainsi qu’une version inédite de "Us And Them".

Enfin, des chutes de l’enregistrement en studio de "The Dark Side Of The Moon" baptisées avec humour "Eclipsed By The Moon", sont aussi apparues la semaine passée sur les plateformes.
