Un album dans la carrière des RHCP un peu particulier pour deux raisons...
C'est un des rares (dans leur période faste) sans Frusciante, avec comme remplaçant à la six cordes Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) qui ne démérite absolument pas, l'album étant parsemé de très belles compos...
Et c'est une galette dont les titres ne sont quasiment jamais joué en live, comme s'il était le vilain petit canard (probablement aux yeux des fans hardcore), ce qui est - de mon point de vue - totalement con et immérité !!!

Oui, Bonjour tout le monde, c'est vrai que Ian Guilan à cette époque ne "couinnait" pas!

Pour ma part je réécoute un album reçu en province et, donc, en première écoute, découvert sur moon I3 et JMR Abscisse, et bien aujourd'hui, je ne le reconnais pas!
