Tout à fait, j'avoue qu'il m'a fallu plusieurs écoutes pour Pain of Salvation afin d'apprécier l'album, mais désormais je le classe vraiment en bon cru 2017. Il me fait toujours penser à Origin de Borknagar, même si damnation est un cran au-dessus en richesse mélodique.

Merci DJ Xav, je ne connaissais pas cet album ayant fait l'impasse sur ce groupe trop Black/Viking pour moi.
En tout cas même si il n'est pas au niveau de celui de Opeth, c'est pas mal du tout.

Heureux que Origin t’ait plu. Borknagar, ça vaut le détour mais c’est comme certains vieux Opeth, les passages durs sont un peu massifs, il faut avoir bien pris son inspiration pour ne pas finir asphyxié. J’ai Empiricism et Quintessence. Je les aime bien mais ne les écoute pas très régulièrement pour autant. Pas plus que je n’écoute les autres albums d’Opeth en fait.
