Allons ce matin c'est un peu de nostalgie, The Crusaders et l'album Crusaders 1 qui date de 1972 pour le vinyl que je possède mais que j'écoute le plus souvent en CD plus pratique.
Petit rappel des musiciens : "Stix" Hooper - Joe Sample - Wilton Felder - Wayne Henderson pour ce groupe mais accompagné de Larry Carlton - Arthur Adams - David T Walker - Chuck Rainey, sur ce disque.
A noter qu'à ces débuts ce groupe s'appelait Jazz Crusaders , jusqu'en 1971, pour devenir the Crusders puis redevenir Jazz Crusaders, avant de redevenir The Crusaders, on peut voir également une apparition d' Eric Clapton sur 2 titres de l'album Rural Renewal.

Un de mes groupes cultes , le plus Mod des groupes Punk et le plus Punk des groupes Mod . Directement inspirée par les Kinks , coincée entre les Sex Pistols et les Clash , elle était moins en avant dans cette vague Pogoesque , la bande à Paul Weller. En tous cas , moi j'adorais et j'ai tout d'eux : je reste Total Addict à 60 balais

Là , c'est même une curiosité franchement collector, une cassette DCC pré-enregistrée (à noter qu'autant les cassettes analogiques pré-enregistrées sont quasi à 100% des bouses, autant les DCC sont équivalentes à des CD , en 18bits en plus, et vieillissent très bien ) ==>
